Sales Assistant - Katonah, NY
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to complement the sales team at the Katonah, NY office. Applicant should be proactive in task management, problem solving and have the ability to multitask. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a MUST and basic knowledge of Quickbooks is preferred.
Duties will include, but won't be limited to, greeting clients in our showroom, phone and e-mail correspondence, inventory and samples management, as well as assisting our sales staff with other tasks, as needed.
This is a full-time (Mon-Fri) 9-5:30 entry-level position with room for growth.
We would require the applicant to start August 1, 2017.
Who We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in one or more of the following degrees:
Business, Design, Commerce, Liberal Arts.
Demonstrated ability to proactively present and escalate ideas, suggestions and problems to ensure continuous improvement
Hands-on, practical problem solving and process improvement skills and ability to complete tasks within set timeframes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated experience in, or passion for design
