Sales Assistant - New York, NY
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sales Associate to complement the sales team in our Manhattan showroom. Applicant should be proactive in task management, problem solving and have the ability to multitask. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a MUST and basic knowledge of Quickbooks is preferred.
Duties will include, but won't be limited to, greeting clients in our showroom, phone and e-mail correspondence with designers, architects and builders. the primary responsibility will be to manage all phases of client projects from design meeting, ordering process, vendor relationships, to delivery.
This is a full-time (Mon-Fri) 9-5:30 position.
We would require the applicant to start on or before June 15, 2018.
Who We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in one or more of the following degrees:
Business, Design, Commerce, Liberal Arts.
Demonstrated ability to proactively present and escalate ideas, suggestions and problems to ensure continuous improvement
Confidence working and communicating with high profile luxury client base
Hands-on, practical problem solving and process improvement skills and ability to complete tasks within set timeframes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Results focused, able to prioritize workload and self-motivate
Experience and/or desire to learn about the design industry
